The Black Crowes

The Black CrowesTHE BLACK CROWES have just announced their four-month “Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys” North American tour, which makes a stop at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara on Tuesday, December 7th. This very special show features a 90-minute acoustic set followed by an electric reception.

The tour follows the release of their first-ever acoustic double album CROWEOLOGY (out August 3rd) and will wrap up with a six-night stand at the Fillmore in San Francisco.   Following the tour, the band will take an extended hiatus.

BlackCrowesLogoDue out Tuesday, August 3rd via band's label Silver Arrow through Megaforce Records, CROWEOLOGY features new arrangements of their best-loved songs and the band’s catalogue picks.  The iconic and influential band will celebrate the album’s release that evening with a performance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and perform the next night, Wednesday, August 4, on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”  The album commemorates the 20th anniversary of their landmark multi-platinum debut, 1990's SHAKE YOUR MONEYMAKERCROWEOLOGY gives listeners an intimate retrospective; stripping away these fan and band favorites like “Jealous Again,” “Remedy,” “She Talks To Angels” and “Wiser Time” to their very essence through brand new recordings, captured in 2009 at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles. Given its scope and bright approach, the Paul Stacey-produced CROWEOLOGY is worth studying for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.

While on tour, THE BLACK CROWES will be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 11 at the 32nd Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards Show. The official induction will feature a live performance from the band.

Don’t miss your chance to “Say Goodnight” to THE BLACK CROWES on Tuesday, December 7th at the Arlington Theatre.  Tickets are on sale now. Prices range from $38 to $58, plus applicable service charges.
