Intense demand to see the compelling singer/songwriter’s live show has been overwhelming since the release of his universally hailed debut album Coming Home (available here), released via Columbia Records on June 23rd. The spring tour announcement comes on the heels of Bridges current sold out fall run, which stretches until mid-November, his first-ever full length North American headlining tour.
Most recently, the Ft. Worth, Texas native enjoyed a homecoming of sorts, performing at the Austin City Limits Festival as well as taping his first ‘Austin City Limits’ TV show last week. Bridges performed all ten songs contained on the new album, Coming Home, and others, for the prestigious PBS show. ‘Austin City Limits’ has been a cornerstone of Austin’s celebrated music scene for four decades and a pioneer in bringing new and noted music artists to PBS stations across the country.
