Directed by Xavier Giannoli, this funny and emotional drama takes place in Paris during the1920s. Marguerite Dumont (Catherine Frot) loves to sing for her friends, although she’s not a talented singer. Both her friends and her husband have kept her fantasy alive. When

a provocative journalist decides to write a rave article on her latest performance, Marguerite starts to believe even further in her talent. The problem begins when she decides to perform in front of a real audience.
