(Columbia Records; New York, NY; October 12, 2015) Breakthrough soul and R&B artist Leon Bridges has announced 2016 tour dates scheduled to kick off on March 1st of next year in Atlanta, GA, touching down in a slew of major cities across North America (please see dates below) with the Texas native’s seven-piece band joining him on the spring trek. Support comes from Andra Day, who will open for Leon from May 23rd through June 9th.
The fan presale (pw: cominghome) and Amex presale starts today, October 12, at 3pm local, with tickets for the tour going on sale to the public Friday, October 16 at 12pm local. Intense demand to see the compelling singer/songwriter’s live show has been overwhelming since the release of his universally hailed debut album Coming Home (available at smarturl.it/ComingHomeiT), released via Columbia Records on June 23rd. The spring tour announcement comes on the heels of Bridges current sold out fall run, which stretches until mid-November, his first-ever full length North American headlining tour.
