The Inaugural Santa Barbara LOL Comedy Festival September 2nd – 7th Brings Comedy Powerhouses To Town For 6 Days of Laughter With Comedy Superstars Russell Peters, Jim Jefferies, Andrew Dice Clay, Rip Taylor, & More.

Santa Barbara, CA June 26th, 2014 – Presented by lolflix.com, the LOL Comedy Festival has found a new home in Santa Barbara for the 2014 festival. The re-branded, Santa Barbara LOL Comedy Festival will bring to Santa Barbara's thriving Historical Theater District nationally and internationally acclaimed touring comedians building a fresh, new and exciting home for the festival. Performances will take place at The Granada, Lobero and Arlington Theatres, as well as throughout select downtown locations as part of the Next-Up Stand-Up series. The proximity of the venues to one another creates a unique and accessible experience for festival audiences, placing them in the heart of Santa Barbara's culture & arts community.

First Round Line-up of Headline Comedians...with many more to be announced:

Tuesday, September 2nd, 8 pm- Arlington Theatre - "Rip Rip Hurray"
The premiere of the Rip Taylor Documentary. Rip Taylor will be in attendance for the premiere and will be conducting a Q&A at the conclusion of the premiere.

Wednesday, September 3rd - Lobero Theatre - "Next Up Stand Up" Show One @ 8:00 PM, Show-Two @10:00 PM
Featuring the hottest up and coming comedic and musical performances, "Next Up Stand Up" kicks off at the Lobero Theatre and will take place at different, locations through the festival each night. "Next Up Stand Up" will be filmed as part of a series to be aired on Hulu and loflix.com. Show -Two will feature the band "SuperNaked"

Thursday, September 4th, 8 pm, - Granada Theatre - "Russell Peters: Almost Famous"
Canada's number one stand-up export, Russell Peters will launch his world tour from Santa Barbara and the SB

Friday, September 5th - Lobero Theatre – "3 Broadcast Specials"
(3) One-hour comedy specials will be filmed for broadcast at the historic Lobero Theater.
Show One @ 6:00 PM, Show Two @ 8:00 PM, Show Three @ 10:00 PM.

Saturday, September 6th - Lobero Theatre – " 2 Broadcast Specials"
(2) One-hour comedy specials will be filmed for broadcast at the historic Lobero Theater.
Show One @ 6:00 PM, Show Two @ 8:00 PM.

Saturday, September 6th - Lobero Theatre - "Andrew Dice Clay Presents: the Blue Show"
Coming on the heels of his role in the critically acclaimed, "Blue Jasmine," and his hit Showtime special, "Andrew Dice Clay: Indestructible," Dice will present his favorite "blue" comedians on the Lobero stage. This show is being filmed for Broadcast.

Sunday September 7th, 7 pm - Arlington Theatre - "Jim Jefferies Live"
The star of the hit show, "Legit," and international comedy fan favorite, Jim Jefferies will round out the Santa Barbara LOL Comedy Festival.
